Semester at Sea

Hello Everyone!

This is the blog from Semester at Sea that i took in Spring of 2012. I left my hometown of San Diego on January 16th and went to the Bahamas on January 19th where I boarded the MV Explorer in Nassau, Bahamas. We did not actually leave until the 20th due to a number of students having Visa issues and therefore actually just went out to sea for a night and came back the next day to pick these students up. I went to the following countries: Dominica, Brazil, Ghana, South Africa, Mauritius, India, Singapore, Vietnam, China, & Japan. We stopped in Hilo and Honolulu Hawaii and then returned to San Diego. The experience was excellent and once in a lifetime and I was so happy to be a part of it. Please have a look at everything that i have to offer not only on this page but the country pages as well as what i did. There are a few last items going up in January of 2013 before this section will be considered complete. After the last items are posted. Any thing in January 2013 that is related to something after SAS will be in the Life Post SAS Section where there will be end of this past Fall 2012 Semester in addition to new items to be added. I look forward to everyone who will read this and I am happy to share my experiences. As I have put in the about this blog section I will accept questions, comments and constructive criticism so long that it covers the following guidelines below which are not all that complicated to follow.

Looking back at 2012, i lived 367 days. the extra leap year day and reliving April 20th twice. It was quite an experience.

Commenting guidelines

I documented my experiences and pictures on this site as much as i can from pictures from being on the boat to countries and everything in between. I am happy to share this with all of you and I welcome any comments, questions, constructive criticisms and insightful thoughts about what I have experienced. So i have a few things that everyone should keep in mind about the blogs and who i put them up for. I am entitled to shut the blog down at any time and only certain users will be allowed to see this particular blog. Please keep the following in mind when  leaving comments.
